Maple Cinnamon Butter
- 1/2 stick butter, softened
- 1 Tablespoon Maple
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Procedure:
- Whisk together softened butter, cinnamon and maple
- Set aside
French Toast
- When Pigs Fly Apple Cinnamon Bread
- 3 eggs, large, beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 Tablespoon sugar
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
- Powdered sugar
Procedure:
- Slice When Pigs Fly Apple Cinnamon Bread into 1-inch slices.
- Combine eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar, milk and vanilla in a large bowl. Whisk.
- Soak the bread slices in the batter for 10 minutes.
- Place 1 1/2 Tablespoons of butter in skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the bread in the pan until for about 2.5 minutes on either side, or until golden brown.
- Stack French toast on a plate, top with maple butter and powdered sugar.
Bonus: Add fresh berries or other fruit to your liking!
